2017 has been a year of self-discovery and transformation for me. This year I've achieved things that I never thought I could and come to love things that I always thought I hated. In the process of it all, I also learned new found wisdom, connected with long lost friends and makes new ones along the way.

Saya hanya mau berbagi pengalaman, bagaimana saya yang kelebihan berat badan sekitar 10-12 kg selama hampir 11 tahun, akhirnya berhasil menurunkan berat badan tanpa obat, tanpa olah raga dan tetap makan enak yang berlemak. Pasti pada mau kan, turun berat badan tapi tetap makan enak dan nggak usah olah raga berat-berat?

As I get older I learn that there are unwritten rules of life that you can not learn in any school. I believe the basics to master these rules were learned from home, from our parents or from people that we grew up with. The rest of it, are simply lessons that we learn as we go through life. If, we're humble enough and willing to learn from all life's' challenges we had. Sadly, as I go through life, I've met people who just don't give a damn or don't even want to look at life as a great learning experience.

After a long hiatus from blogging, first thing I want to talk about is how lately I've been thinking that in my almost 40 years of age (I'll be 40 in 2 months at the time this blog was written) I've been truly blessed with having a set of girlfriends that I can count on and be my self without any judgement or any pretenses whatsoever.

New Beginnings

Well this is a new beginning for my blog, it's got a new home, a new name, a new layout and certainly a new purpose  :)  I will be closing my old one in another platform.
Hopefully this year I will be more dedicated in writing my blog and sharing more :)

What Happened to Me in the Past Two Years

Hello… Hi… Yes I am still alive and well……..Wow it’s been more than two years since I blog, I practically neglect this blog since 2012. and as always blogging calls on me again. I would really like to have a lively blog really… but I get to lazy to write sometimes, and ending up forgetting. Until one day that feeling came up again, like today. After seeing great blogs by stay at home moms, I get inspired again to start blogging. Hopefully this time, i’ll stick to it… hmmm really inconsistency is one of my biggest problem that I have to work on in every area!!

Bali in my Eyes

The first time I went to Bali was with my parents and their friends for a new year holiday back in the late 80’s or early 90’s (I’m not so sure) but I believe then we stayed in Sanur, where the happening place was back then. We were road-tripping from Jakarta to Bali. I did not really remember our whole activity there but I remember getting my hair braided by the beach and swimming endlessly until my skin got so dark and burned. Even as a child I really love the beach…

And off we go to the Island of the Gods...

Finally we arrived in Bali, although a little bit sore from the flu and waking up so early in the morning to go to the airport, me and the kids are nevertheless still very exited about our trip.

Oh my.. Oh why...

It is two days away from our family vacation time. I had a sore throat and both of my kids came down with a flu…

ooh viruses please go go the hell away from me and my kids…we want to be healthy for our vacation, the bags are packed, the hotels are booked and the sun the sea and the sand are waiting for us…

Please be gone by tomorrow…

or at least let the kids be healthy….

From 'Lady Boss' to 'Mbak Mama'

Today is the first day of me being a full-time mom, my 3 y/o daughter gave me a new title… She called me ‘mbak mama’ (mbak = nanny). She said that she doesn't need a nanny now because now she has ‘mbak mama’ all the time.
