2017 in Review: A Year of Transformation and Self Discovery

Sunday, December 31, 2017

2017 has been a year of self-discovery and transformation for me. This year I've achieved things that I never thought I could and come to love things that I always thought I hated. In the process of it all, I also learned new found wisdom, connected with long lost friends and makes new ones along the way.

Our Blessed 12 Years Together

Tuesday, August 29, 2017

12 years ago, I signed a lifetime contract with this man that I fell madly in love with in just months of knowing each other. I have no idea what marriage will be like back then. I thought it will all be fun and game, just an extension of our dating years. Little did I know, life did not turn out as the romance movie did. It was not all hearts, kisses and romantic trips. The end is not when the guy gets the girl and they live happily ever after. In this life, the story continues and that is when the real life begins.

The Unwritten Rules of Life

Saturday, April 29, 2017

As I get older I learn that there are unwritten rules of life that you can not learn in any school. I believe the basics to master these rules were learned from home, from our parents or from people that we grew up with. The rest of it, are simply lessons that we learn as we go through life. If, we're humble enough and willing to learn from all life's' challenges we had. Sadly, as I go through life, I've met people who just don't give a damn or don't even want to look at life as a great learning experience.

New Beginnings

The thing about new beginnings is that they require something else to end.  - Gossip Girl

Well this is a new beginning for my blog, it's got a new home, a new name, a new layout and certainly a new purpose  :)  I will be closing my old one in another platform.
Hopefully this year I will be more dedicated in writing my blog and sharing more :)

Yes, then the cure is just one day away…

God speaks to you in every way, look closer, listen harder, open your eyes as well as your heart. The answer is there.

Sometimes in Life

Friday, December 16, 2011

Sometimes in life, you find a special friend. Someone who changes your life just by being a part of it. Someone who makes you laugh until you can’t stop. Someone who makes you believe that there really is good in the world. Someone who convinces you that there really is an unlocked door just waiting for you to open it. This is forever friendship. When you’re down and the world seems dark and empty, your forever friend lifts you up in spirit and makes that dark and empty world suddenly seem bright and full. Your forever friend gets you through the hard times, the sad times and the confused times. If you turn and walk away, your forever friend follows. If you lose your way, your forever friend guides you and cheers you on. Your forever friend holds your hand and tells you that everything is going to be okay. And if you find such a friend, you feel happy and complete because you need not worry. You have a forever friend, and forever has no end.

I’m so lucky that I have a few of them in my life. you know who you are (((((heart)))))

Reading

Reading was my escape and my comfort, my consolation, my stimulant of choice: reading for the pure pleasure of it, for the beautiful stillness that surrounds you when you hear an author’s words reverberating in your head.

Yes, it went fast and it goes up and down all the time, but that’s what makes life interesting and worth living for.
